Why not? There is an underground home in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA that was built in the ’60’s. It has automatic light changings, pictures of trees and sky, and other “inovations” of the time. It is huge, with parking, tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, all underground. It was a long way out of the city when built, but now is only a couple of blocks off the strip.
