Yes, ubiquitous, non-intrusive computing will be a key feature. The way things are looking, it may be implemented on carbon rather than silicon in any case.
I definitely need to get to work on some stories in this kind of a setting. I have an idea, but I’m stuck on a key detail (not a technological one, but a sociological one).
