  1. Mike Reeves-McMillan I won’t even use Siri. I don’t like the idea of a thing that can be constantly listening to me. The idea of a fridge that reorders food when you run out is not something I want or need, for example. I actually like the feeling of accomplishment I get when I pick my own produce and get chores done. I am accomplishing tasks that have exercise built-in, as it were, and mean something in terms of making my life better. It’s not entirely in my interest to be easier to market to either, which, let’s face it, is what this is about. I don’t mind things such as sensors that help you locate a plumbing problem quickly. That makes sense. But helping companies manipulate me into spending money on stuff I don’t need? Nope.
