Here&#8217;s an update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of today, I&#8217;ve written 10 of the projected 13 stories, and have another one partially drafted (it&#8217;s still the same one that was partially drafted in May, unfortunately). I have another idea still to work on, as well. That means I need at least one more story idea, probably involving an illusionist or a theurgist (each of the stories has a different kind of magic user). I&#8217;m sure one will come to me in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the stories is sold, and most of the rest are out on submission. I&#8217;m counting one of the pieces in my first collection, <em>Good Neighbours and Other Stories<\/em>, towards the total, but I will most likely substitute a completely new story for that one. It&#8217;s about a shaman, and I&#8217;m sure I can write another shaman story, since they&#8217;re all over the place in my Gryphon Clerks setting.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I have 33,000 words so far, out of probably about 45,000 words in total, but one or two of the stories may get replaced. I might have as much as another 20,000 words to write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t know when I&#8217;ll publish this. I&#8217;d like to sell a few more of the stories to magazines and anthologies before I collect them, and then there&#8217;s a rights reversion period.
