The idea is that since the car does the driving the person in the driver&#8217;s seat can do something else with their time, like spend it in virtual reality. It&#8217;s currently unusual to see people in public spaces wearing VR headsets; it would be really weird to see someone driving like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;The virtual reality experience is just an example of something you can do in a self-driving car that you can\u2019t do in a standard vehicle or even at home.
