  1. Agreed. And wrt that terraforming video, unless you can shelter the planet from the solar wind, it’ll lose the new atmosphere in a few million years, and then it’ll be hard to recreate. Unless we can figure out a way to spin up a magnetic field, or other protection, I don’t see the point of terraforming.

  2. I am not going to predict what people will do. They have a habit of defying logic, coming up with an idea or knowledge I didn’t know, or changing the perimeters by inventing something new that changes everything.
