It’s harder (though not impossible, with knowledge and care) to get all your nutrients on a vegetarian diet. Also, some people just like the experience of eating meat, and don’t want to give it up.
Growing meat looks like it is sustainable. I’d be willing to try it, depending on how they’re growing it. I’d want to understand the process.
