Silvers are the merchants, administrators, tradespeople and general backbone of society. Unlike the distinction between the Gold Class and the Silver class, which is based on descent from the ruling families, the distinction between the Silver class and the Copper Class is not precisely defined. Manual versus non-manual work is part of it, but the more prosperous farmers and skilled workers are considered Silvers. One rule of thumb is whether one’s daily pay consists of silver or copper coins, though this is not the real origin of the name; it is based in ancient elven practice. (The three classes among the elves were given different coloured hair, using magical biotechnology, to distinguish them.)

The Silver class in Koskant largely supports Realmgold Victory, who is inclined to pay more attention to their interests than her predecessor, who favoured the Golds strongly.
